Statements about Job Accomplishments

DeKalb County has been recognized in recent years as having one the best sheriff’s departments in the nation.  

"Providence graduation rates are up."

On the last night of the General Assembly, "by 11 o'clock 95 to 98 percent of the business was done. So we really didn't have that late-night session. We were just holding on one bill."

Cranston's 2014-2015 "budget funds 100 percent of the local police and fire pension and other retiree benefit costs."

"As Alaska’s attorney general, (U.S. Senate candidate Dan) Sullivan successfully fought to protect our Second Amendment rights and passed ‘stand your ground.’ "

Under Gov. Scott Walker, "employer confidence now stands at 95 percent," compared to "only 10 percent" at the end of the "Gov. Jim Doyle-Mary Burke administration."

"My Treasury team eliminated a 900-case backlog in the Crime Victim Compensation Program."

Wisconsin is "one of the bluest" states, but under Scott Walker its unemployment rate "is around 3.5%."

"As attorney general, I have prosecuted judges, district attorneys and other public officials across Texas who violated that (public) trust, who have been corrupted."

Under Scott Walker, Wisconsin "unemployment's up" from 4.8% to 6.2%  

The Redskins Training Camp deal "generated $40 million in new private investment in the city."

"The budget I managed at the Department of Education was more than $60 million."

"The only time over the last 25 years when the state’s unemployment rate exceeded the U.S. average was when (Mary) Burke was commerce secretary."

"Every year since Gov. Walker and the Republicans have been in control of the Legislature we’ve created fewer jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics."

"And we’ve constantly been the lowest unemployed county in the state."
