Texas U.S. Rep. Ron Paul revealed this week he’s no longer going to spend money on his longshot bid for the Republican presidential nomination.

According to an Associated Press recap of an email blast Paul sent supporters May 14, 2012, Paul said: "Our campaign will continue to work in the state convention process. We will continue to take leadership positions, win delegates and carry a strong message to the Republican National Convention that liberty is the way of the future."
