Rick Perry opposes the federal government setting minimum wage

In an email blast to reporters, the Democratic National Committee said Texas Gov. Rick Perry doesn't think there should be a federal minimum wage.

We wondered.

In two televised interviews, Perry this year said indeed he doesn't think the federal government should set a minimum wage, though he also said he's unsure about repealing it--if he had such power.
