Nicole Polizzi, aka "Snooki" of MTV's reality show "Jersey Shore, isn't especially known for her political discourse.
But in a video promo for the new season of "Jersey Shore," Snooki got on her soapbox to take on President Barack Obama on an issue dear to her heart.
"I don't go tanning-tanning anymore because Obama put a 10 percent tax on tanning," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi says after her boyfriend is shown spray-tanning her face. "And I feel like he did that intentionally for us."
Snooki has touched on a little-known provision in the controversial health care reform bill passed earlier this year. We went to the text of the bill -- and cited some of the back-and-forth between Obama and Sen. John McCain -- and rated Snooki's claim True.
