The Truth-O-Meter will soon have a Jersey accent.
The Star-Ledger next month will launch PolitiFact New Jersey to fact-check the state's lively cast of political characters.
It will be PolitiFact's ninth state site and the third with newspapers in the Advance chain (the others are the Plain-Dealer for PolitiFact Ohio and the Oregonian for PolitiFact Oregon).
The New Jersey site will be edited by Caryn Shinske and staffed by reporters Erin O'Neill and Bill Wichert.
