Texan Greg Abbott is hosting Wisconsinite Scott Walker, his gubernatorial counterpart, on the Texas-Mexico border.

In Truth-O-Meter terrain, Walker--a presidential prospect--has Abbott whupped. That is, Walker has been fact-checked far more times than Abbott, who's only been governor since January of this year, has faced our scrutiny.

Both Republicans have been fact-checked per immigration claims.

Most recently, we rated True Abbott's claim about 20,000 border crossers getting apprehended this calendar year. But last year, we found no substance to Abbott's attribution of 3,000 murders to immigrants in Texas without legal authorization: Pants on Fire!

Also recently, PolitiFact Wisconsin concluded Walker had completely flip-flopped on offering immigrants here without legal permission a path to citizenship. Our friends there made that ruling after previously bestowing a Half Flip.
