Nan Rich served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000-2004 and then was elected to the Florida Senate. She served as leader of the Senate Democratic Caucus 2010-2012 and then was term limited. Rich, who lives in Broward County, is running against Republican Gov. Rick Scott in 2014.
