We’re always trying new things at PolitiFact! And so I wanted to make sure you saw this video fact-check about an interesting issue playing out in Oklahoma.
If you haven’t been following, Oklahoma updated its state academic standards to require high schools teach students about "discrepancies" in the 2020 presidential election — despite no evidence of widespread voter fraud or any major issues counting ballots.
To help Oklahomans out, PolitiFact’s Grace Abels laid out the facts in this short video. (It’s worth a look just to see Grace in five different costumes, playing five distinct characters.)
We make these videos to make facts easy to understand. PolitiFact’s debunking newsroom is interested in exploring more easy-to-access, fun media literacy tools, and that’s where you can help. Would you donate to expand our video fact-checking to our over 1 million followers on social media?
Thank you for your support.
