State Comptroller Susan Combs, who issued her forecast of state revenue in advance of the 2013 Legislature coming into session, has a flip-floppish Truth-O-Meter record.

We rated Pants on Fire her claim in a speech that the 2011 Legislature did not cut public education funding. Separately, her reference to ending the Texas Department of Agriculture’s inspections of eggs at grocery stores was rated False.

And twice she’s been subject to the Flip-O-Meter. In August 2011, we adjudged her shift on abortion a Full Flop, while in November 2011, we reached that conclusion about her position on advancing state money for a Formula One race.

Hear anything factually curious from her at her latest press conference?

Listen to it here or read the comptroller’s transcript. And of course, write us any time.
