The Democratic Hispanic Caucus of Florida, Miami-Dade County Chapter, says the group's purpose is "to stimulate a participating interest in public affairs that will foster better and more representative government for Hispanics and all minorities. To increase the political power and influence of Hispanic Democrats within the Miami-Dade County Democrats."
