Thomas Garrett Jr.

Thomas A. Garrett Jr., a Republican, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Virginia's 5th Congressional District in 2016. He was in Virginia's Senate from 2012 to 2016. He has served as an assistant state attorney general and Commonwealth's attorney for Louisa County. Garrett was born in Atlanta and is a graduate of Louisa County High School in Virginia. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Richmond.
