Tom Mechler

Tom Mechler, of Amarillo, is a consultant to oil and gas producers. A member of the Texas Board of Criminal Justice, he's a former member of the State Republican Executive Committee and served as a GOP chair in two counties, according to the biographical material posted on his campaign site. He lost his 2010 bid to chair the Republican Party of Texas.
