For two and a half years, she covered voting rights, money in politics, gerrymandering and other democracy reform issues for The Fulcrum, a nonpartisan, nonprofit news organization. She's also reported for Delmarva Now, part of the USA Today network, and OpenSecrets. Sara graduated from Syracuse University and is originally from West Virginia.
