Pants on Fire: The statement is not accurate and makes a ridiculous claim.
Wendy Davis just spoke at an annual campaign fundraiser for a liberal Democratic U.S. House member from Chicago.
But similar claims lofted separately by Greg Abbott and David Dewhurst that the House member, Jan Schakowsky, is also a member of a socialist group or was raising money for a socialist group didn’t hold up.
They came out so unsupported, we lit matches back to back.
