Wisconsin state Sen. Bob Wirch, a Democrat from Pleasant Prairie in Kenosha County in southeastern Wisconsin, has served in the Senate since 1996. He survived a recall election in 2011. Wirch served in the state Assembly from 1992 to 1996.

Recent statements involving Bob Wirch

The 2009-11 state budget that Democrats approved left Wisconsin taxpayers $3.6 billion in debt.

Says he "helped bring" Uline company to Kenosha area, "creating 800 local jobs."

"Over the course of one four-year term, it costs taxpayers more than $1 million simply to operate" the governor’s mansion.
