Ed Schultz blasted Walmart for not paying its workers enough money to get off of public assistance.

Last week, MSNBC pundit Ed Schultz claimed that Walmart employees receive "roughly $5,800" in public assistance per year.

Schultz's latest claim makes nine that we've checked either as part of PunditFact or for PolitiFact.

You can see Schultz's overall record here, but we'll give you the 20,000-foot view. Of nine fact-checks, Schultz has yet to receive a rating above Half True. Six of Schultz's claims have been rated Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire.
