Take a look at our list of President Barack Obama's campaign promises on the environment and you'll see a lot of green -- the color for promises that we've rated In the Works or Promise Kept.
Of the 58 promises on the environment that we're tracking on our Obameter, we've rated 29 In the Works and 16 as Kept.
The totals on the environmental promises:
In the Works 29
Stalled 3
Promise Broken 2
Compromise 8
Promise Kept 16
The Promises Kept include several that increased funding for environmental programs, as well as investing in alternative energy.
There's one important asterisk to Obama's overall progress on environmental promises: A key element in his environmental plans, a cap and trade plan, is rated a Promise Broken.
